Our staff provides an atmosphere of trust and caring between our team and our patients. They have been with Drs. Pickard and Pickard’s practice on an average of five years per staff member with 51 years of combined experience in orthodontics. Each team member takes pride in her job, recognizing the important role the group takes in making sure that each patient has an enjoyable orthodontic experience.
Successful orthodontic treatment requires all the elements of good teamwork—discipline, communication and commitment. Our staff will work with you and your child to provide an ideal treatment result and a fun and rewarding experience in our practice.
Kelly Jensen, our treatment coordinator, has worked at our office since June of 1998. She has a B.S. in Child and Family Consumer Studies from the University of Idaho and is the mother of three beautiful children, ages 4-12. Active in children's activities and involved in the Moscow Junior Miss program, Kelly loves working with patients and parents and values the importance that orthodontics plays in a child's self-esteem. "It is amazing to see the growth of the patients, both physically and emotionally, during treatment."
Vicki Leeper, clinical technician, has enjoyed working with our office since February of 1997. A past Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, Vicki currently volunteers as a "Story Lady" at the library and at Sunnyside Preschool. Married and the mother of three, she stays busy with Pullman High School and preschool activities. Vicki loves seeing kids she has known for years become patients and mature into responsible citizens with beautiful smiles.
Shannon Funke has been employed as a clinical technician since the fall of 2003. She brings 10 years of experience to our practice. Married in 1998 and living in Clarkston, Shannon enjoys family and traveling. Her goal is to make each patient feel special.
Jessica Jennings, technician, has enjoyed working in our office since May of 1998. Her baby son keeps her very busy, but she finds time for participating in several sports and staying abreast of our patients' athletic progress. She often can be found at local junior high and high school games cheering for our patients. She lives in Lewiston.
Nina Koerner, clinical technician, is originally from Iceland. Married over 22 years to Vince, they have three grown children and one granddaughter. Nina has worked in our office since her move to Colfax in 2000. Her greatest joy is interacting with both the adult and young patients, getting to know them and making them feel comfortable in our office.
